A Closer look at Detail with Markers

Many Marvelous Markers, I currently have two clubs going, so maybe you are wondering what else you can do with these wonderful markers besides just coloring. Well, here are two more techniques you can use.

On the Happy Birthday scallop I inked up the stamp with Pumpkin Pie, then took the Pink Passion marker and ran it along the inside of the scallop and down the edges of the candles. I also took the Summer Sun marker and tipped the top of the candles. It just adds a little hightlight to the stamped image. Easy and quick t
o do!!

With this one, I took white grosgrain ribbon and just colored stripes of Pumpkin Pie and Pink Passion with the markers. Just be careful to leave some space between the stripes when coloring because the markers do bleed some. This added more color coordination to the whole set.

Hope you have liked my little tidbits of marker knowledge. Be creative and let me know what you are doing with your markers.

Have a great Tuesday!
