Happy Heart Day

Good Morning, ever have one of those nights where you can't sleep because your mind won't shut down?? I have them quite often! I felt like I was up most of the night reworking my blog! I am so excited about sharing my addiction of stamping with others, because I know there are many of you out there that feel the same way!! lol

Here is a card I cased from someone at SCS, but I can't find it again. I will get better at that!

I used the stamp sets Baroque Motifs and Always, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou DSP. The heart I embossed with Stampendous Red Tinsel EP and it sparkles. I cut out the heart and made the scallops around the heart with the 1 3/8 inch circle punch and the scallop punch. To make the scallops use the circle punch first, then line up the scallop just outside the circle and punch, snip the scallop flower open and the gently bend the shape into a straight line. Use 2-way glue pen to adhere the scallops to the heart. I used the Stick-a-peel hearts on the card also, they add a lot of sparkle.

Here is another Heart Lady from Sparkle n Sprinkle, card I made for my sister (I have 3 younger sisters). For the background paper I stamped the Crossed Hearts in Real Red and sponged over them with Regal Rose. The red mirrored cardstock behind my heart lady really stands out and shines.

There is so much out there that we can do on our blogs now, I need to start adding more elements and surprises. So keep looking back and watch me grow!
