One of a Kind Elegance

I found a sketch at Jen's blog yesterday and combined it with the Color Challenge over on Splitcoast. I am real happy with the way it came out.

I started with a base of River Rock and used the River Rock Design paper from Ginger Blossoms and layered it on Basic Black, and pierced the edges. I used two pieces of white cut to 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 and stamped on them using the stamp set One of a Kind, I sponged the edges with River Rock, and stamped the verse in Brilliance Black. For the medallion I stamped it first on white with River Rock, then I stamped it again on River Rock with Black and cut out the large flower. I then stamped it on Black with Versamark and embossed it with white and cut out the smaller flower. For the center I stamped the little flower in the set with River Rock on white and punched it out with the 1/2" circle and used the Build-a-Brads that I just got. They look real nice when you are done! I cut the circle using my Creative Memories Circle Cutter and layered it on a black circle.

If you have time today, go over to Splitcoast and do a challenge today! It stretches you creativity and is alot of fun!
