Spring Flower Swaps

This Saturday is my Club Workshop and we do swaps, so last night I made mine. I just got the Accents and Elements felt flowers last week and wanted to use those. I looked in the layout book from SCS that I printed out and picked SC19. I really like to look through the sketches to pick on out before I work on a card. I know alot of people are drawing up there own, but I seem to work better from one already made. So keep those sketches coming people!

I used Pink Passion for the base and Only Orange for the inside layer. I wanted to use a Sale-a-Bration stamp set and picked Friendship Blooms because it had flowers similar to the accent pieces. I stamped the swirl in Green Galore and layered it on Green Galore and used a Green Galore brad to attach the flower. I stamped the big flower on the background and put stickles on the centers and petals. Then on the inside Only Orange piece I stamped the three flowers in a row across the bottom in Pink Passion. I also stamped the verse up further on the cardstock.

Here is a close up of the flowers. I love the texture it adds to the card. How springy!! You get alot of different shapes and sizes in the tin (that you can later alter!). I do wish they came in more colors though, than just Pink Passion, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive!

Maybe there is more to come!!

Have a great day!!
