Black Metallic Background

Ah, the weekend is here!! But it has been raining all day. I am glad I made it out for a good walk in the park yesterday! I was trying some different style cards for my daughter who wanted to take them to a coffee shop, so I got these stamps to try something "different". It is not really my style, but they have there place.

The stamps are from Sparkle n Sprinkle: Paris Sax 1709-332H, Treble Clef 1045-175. For the main image, I didn't have any black glossy cardstock so I made my own by using white glossy and brayering it with black stazon. Next I spritzed it lightly with water and colored squiggly lines from Galaxy Markers, then using my finger blended a little bit. You might need to spritz a little more water on, but not to much. I used versamark on the stamp and embossed it with Platinum Embossing Powder. I layered this on Silver cardstock then on a blue metallic cardstock.

The card base is a Silver from the Stardreams Fuse Colors, the next layer is a blue/grey. For the Musica stamp I inked it in Brillance Black and I used 3 dew drops as my embellishment.
