Well, I trust everyone had a Blessed Resurrection Day! We did...we had a great service at church, then a pot luck lunch (I love these, because of all the new recipe ideas I get), then we met some friends and did some hiking enjoying the great outdoor and all of God's beautiful creation!
I wanted to play with some of my House Mouse stamps last night. I've been looking at them sitting on my desk for a while and decided it was time! Tooo many stamps and not enough time!! Anyone else feel that way! lol.
Here are the recipes: From a Stampaholic, is on a base of Blush Blossom, the image was stamped with Brilliance Black and colored with Prismacolors and gamsol layered on Taken with Teal. Pretty simple layout. I think these stamps speak for themselves and don't need a lot of other embellishments.
The second one was done on a Purely Pomegranate base. The designer paper is a scrap I had laying around from Creative Memories. I stamped the image with Brilliance Black on Shimmery White card stock and colored with Prismacolors and gamsol again. I stamped the saying in Purely Pomegranate. I used the 1/4" circle punch and put the Certainly Celery brads on top. I also used Mustard and Celery grosgrain ribbon adhered with 1/8" double sided sticky tape from Sparkle n Sprinkle.
Thanks for looking today...have a great Monday.
