Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I sure didn't enjoy loosing an hour of sleep last night!! Here is what I was working on yesterday at Scrappin' Sistahs. One of the girls did a calendar and I just loved the idea and decided to do one also. I am doing it as I go through the year. On the top I do a scrapbook page and then the calendar part I am just printing out 1.5 inch square pictures of hightlights of the month and activities that we did. I am journaling some on the calendar. This way when the year is done I have 24 pages done and can put them in a scrapbook!!
I did January for my oldest daughters birthday. Mandy turned 18. For February it is my younger daughters birthday, she turned 14. So here are the pages.
I used the monthly designer paper (don't know who made it). The chipboard star is SU and I covered it with White Craft, then brushable glue from Sparkle n Sprinkle and put Bridal glitter on it. Then I used the dimensional glue from SnS and put the dots and 18 on it and covered it with Misty Blue glitter. The three little glitter stars are punched out on Sticker Paper and sprinkled with Starry Night glitter. The stars on the calendar are stamps from a retired SU set, I used Ballet Blue Craft ink.
I used my new blue baubles from Michaels as an embellishment.
