Roll with the Punches Dare

Happy Weekend! This was a dare set out from Scrapnextras. She came up with the idea herself and I thought it was so clever I had to take the dare and try it myself. I also combined it with the color challenge over on Splitcoast: Apricot Appeal, Cameo Coral, Mellow Moss and Creamy Carmel.

I did this card to fit in the 5 in one envelope template. I started with the card base at 7 1/2 x 6 and folded. The envelope was made with the Bali Breeze DSP and stamped on it with Garden Whimsey and the swirls from Priceless.

I started with the So Swirly wheel inked with Cameo Coral and rolled it over my circle template I made. I then outlined the circles and then doodled around the edge of the cardstock and put some dots around my circles. I layered this on Cameo Coral and adhered it with dimensionals. Then I used the 3 for You flower punch to add more detail to my strip and used silver brads. I picked out my Garden Whimsey set to use (I love this set!) and stamped the butterfly in Cameo. for my Mellow Moss Strip I used the single flower and stamped a row of flowers then I paper pierced 3 rows (it's a little hard to see), one on the top and two rows on the bottom. I could not figure out how I could add the Creamy Carmel, I just didn't like anything I was doing with it, so I finally decided on a piece of taffeta ribbon to add that color.

Thanks for looking and why don't you try to take the dare also....I dare you!!

God Bless,

I think Laura's RWTP technique is really cool. I tried it, but alas, I need more practice. Your card is beautiful! I love everything about it. Great stamping!
