I made this card using my Hobby Blade and Cutting Mat. It opens and the flowers pop up. I got the idea out of the Card Maker magazine. I started out with a quarter sheet of Rose Romance cardstock cut to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. The vanilla layered on top is cut 12 x 5 1/4 and the first score lines are at 4 and 8 inches. Then lay it out flat and stamp what you want remembering to look at where your images will lay after you score later at 2 and 10 inches.

I used Pretty Peonies stamp set from SU. It is a 2 step stampin set, I also used my Stamp-a-ma-Jig to line up the flowers exactly. I stamped the Peonies in Regal Rose, then in Purely Pomegrante. I colored the centers with the So Saffron marker, then highlighted the centers with Evening Glow glitter, and the flowers with Burgundy glitter from Sparkle n Sprinkle. The leaves were stamped first with Mellow Moss, then again with Always Artichoke. On the front I used Itty Bitty Backgrounds to fill in the space, and sponged the edges. Happy Mothers Day came from the set Happy Holidays.

After you are done stamping score your 2 & 10" inches marks, but do not score over the flowers the you are going to cut out. After you score use your Hobby Blade and cut out the portion of the flower on the inside of the score line and then fold.

Enjoy this first day of May and Happy Stamping!!
