Lace Sparkles

Happy Tuesday!! Since Jim is home on Monday's it really doesn't feel like my week starts until Tuesday. We went snorkeling out at Egmont Key yesterday and enjoying swimming with the fish. Got home just as the daily storms where coming in.

I made this glitter lace when I was Trish's two times back. We did a lot of glitters and I just got around to making it into a card. I love this one though because I was playing around with using a piece strip lace, you know the kind that you sew on the bottom of your hem. I stuck it down on the sticker paper and sprinkled Misty Blue glitter down. You find the tutorial on this technique here. Then pulled off the lace and sprinkled Bridal glitter and then brayered it to make sure it was stuck down good. I layered this on Soft Sky, then I scalloped a piece of Blue Bayou to place above that, and tied the Blue Bayou double stitched ribbon. The bible verse and the glitter is from Sparkle n Sprinkle. The verse was cut out with the Nestibilities and I put a drop of glitter in the corners with dimensional glue.

Thanks for stopping by.
Stampingly,
Jill

Missed you last week--I know you all had good fun!
Things are looking up here. Went for the 2nd round of shots in my back yesterday so am a little icky today.

Going to catch crabs on the outgoing tide for tarpoon fishing. Hee hee. I just like the crabbing.

LOVE this lace technique. I am off to find some lace now for some tags I have to make. xxooTammy loves Jill
