I have been looking for a good Florida stamp set and couldn't find one......so guess what I did......I made my own! Yes you are looking at a stamp from Sparkle n Sprinkle that I designed! I was so excited when Margaret told me she was going to use my drawings and make them into stamps!!
My husband works for the State Dept of Transportation, in the Bridge Maintenance office, and he works with the Skyway Bridge. It's a beautiful bridge and I am glad to have it as a stamp now.
This card was made for one of the guys in this office. It's perfect! I embossed it using Antique Gold embossing powder. I layered it on Taken with Teal, then on Night of Navy. The background is Soft Sky and I used my new Crafters Companion board to score the diagonal lines. I just used the box side that has several scoring lines measured. I added gold brads to the corners.
I was hoping to get another card finished today to share with you, but that didn't happen, so watch for more using my new stamps.
Here is a picture of the plates of stamps. I drew them all, but the Fun in the Sun and Life's a Beach! It is available for purchase from Sparkle n Sprinkle here.
