More Acrylic

George from Sparkle n Sprinkle cut me a 12 x 12 acrylic, I wanted to make a scrap page for our anniversary. We had this picture taken on the cruise. It is so nice that they have all the photographers around on formal night, you can choose from many backgrounds and settings. I wanted one with the ship in the background. I wanted to stick to my three basic colors, Certainly Celery (of course!), Black and Silver (since it was our 25th) I used some retired DSP for the base. I layered our picture on Silver then Black. There is a photo corner of silver under each corner.
I stamped using the Baroque Motifs with White Stazon on the underside of the acrylic.
I used silver magic mesh and two silver hearts linked, cut out with the Cuttlebug.
The two acrylics I adhered to the front where attached with Crystal Effects. The finishing touches were the silver dew drops.
I had a 4x12 piece also, that I wanted to make the title out of. My first thought was to hand it up and have this hang below, but I like the stand better. I don't know if I like the title piece or not though, does it take away from the page?? Let me know what you think.

Have a great Labor day!!

What a lovely picture! Good job mounting it on acrylic. Maybe we could have a class. Hint Hint.

I don't like the 25th Anniversary at the bottom! Take it off now! lol It distracts from the beautiful picture!

Jill! This is drop dead gorgeous! What a wonderful picture of you and your DH & I love everything about your layout! I would take the 25th anniversary plate off myself...I think less is more in this case. Love it!
