9/11 - Seven years later....I wanted to make a card in remembrance of all those who lost their loved ones. Please take a moment today to remember them. The Lord is a God of love and peace and is always just a prayer away.
I used a new stamp set Crosses from Sparkle n Sprinkle. I used Midnight Blue embossing powder for the cross and layered it on Pacific Blue, then on Riding Hood Red. The designer paper is some I've had for a while. The sentiment was also embossed with Midnight Blue. The star eyelets are some retired SU ones. This is a 4 1/4" square card, so for the envelope I took a regular card envelope and sealed it. Cut it to 4 3/8" square so the opening is now on the end. Take a piece of the designer paper cut to 4 3/8 x 2 1/2 and score and 1". Glue down the 1" tab to the back and fold over for the flap, you can use a corner punch for the from flap. Now you have an envelope to fit and match the card!
I used the sketch from below for this card, but I turned the main image. Tammy also finished her challenge card so take a look at what she did! click here Tammy you did an awesome job!! Love the card, coloring, stickles...everything!
May God bless you all as we remember,
