Ornament Boxes

To start with the box again you need 1 cardstock for the box cut to 10 1/2 x 10 1/2, and for the lid and the insert you need 6" squares. For the box you are scoring at 3 1/2 & 7, then turn the cardstock 90 degrees and score again at 3 1/2 & 7.

For the insert you need to score a 1 1/4" line on all four sides. Okay, so I know it is difficult to understand the measurments of the box insert and lid, so I took another picture, up close. When you are working with the Scor-Pal, the score lines are at 1/2 inch intervals, with other measurements marked (like the 2 1/8" below). Well when you have a line you need to score at 1 1/4" there is no line, so what do you do?? Well, you use the inch marks at the left side. I can use the inch score lines, and such subract the 1/4" to get the 3/4" and score on the 2" line. (Did I totally confuse you??)
For the insert, to make it a tad bit smaller to fit inside, place your cardstock just on the right side of the 3/4" line.
For the lid to make the box a little larger, place you cardstock just to the left side of the 3/4" line.

Thanks for your patience. The computer has been giving me so many headaches!!
I have had alot of fun making these boxes! They will make perfect gifts for the Teachers this year. I used an assortment of cardstocks, stamps, and embellishments.

Have a great day!! Thanks for stopping by.
