I have been wanting to make a scene card and finally did. I have lots of different element stamps and wanted to create a card using them. A friend from church just moved and I wanted to send her a little note, so I thought the little bird house was perfect. The individual stamps are: a birdhouse, picket fence, grass, birdie, inside sentiment...and outer sentiment is computer generated.

I stamped the birdhouse image using Brilliance Black on white cardstock cut with the Top Note Die I masked the birdhouse and stamped the fence, then I colored with my new Copics. I added a grass stamp at the bottom a couple of times. I sponged some Tempting Turquoise and Gable Green around the edges. The bird is cut out and dimensionalized. I added some Crystal Effects to the bird, and house to add some dimension. The background is Tempting Turquoise and run through the Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug folder. The main image is on dimensionals. To finish it off I used a Real Red button with some embrodiery thread.

Enjoy your day!

Did I read this????? "...then I colored with my new copic.." When did you splurge and get copics? When do I get to try them? You just get sooooo creative. What's next? This card is really cute!!
