Oval Shadowbox

Here is the oval card that I showed you on my video. I have been using my Color Wheel alot lately and have put colors together that I hadn't been thinking of. On this card it is Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red, Sage Shadow, and Handsome Hunter. The flowers in the center are from Embrace Life and I stamped them on watercolor paper with Versamark and embossed them with Antique Gold, and watercolored it with inks and the aqua painter with Cameo Coral, So Saffron, and Perfect Plum (from the Color Wheel). The butterflies are from Flight of the Butterfly and I embossed one with Cherry and one with Lemon from Sparkle n Sprinkle, and layered them.

This shows you how I cut the back...I used the 2 oval Nestibilities to make my score line, but then had to put a lot more cut in the back to make it open up right. I did end up cutting a stripe of pink 3/8" and wrapping it around the outside and lining the inside of the box with it, because it had too many gaps. The center is Riding Hood Red and is run through the Cuttlebug with the Textile folder.
