For the Dogs

Boy, Sherree & I had fun on Saturday!! We decided to take a drive to Spring Hill to visit some stamp stores. We stopped at Whim-so-doodle in St Pete on the way, then had some lunch and drove up to Stamping Studio and Stamp & Scrap a Latte. We got some fun new stamps...I'll show you tomorrow my finds. We enjoyed our day out.

Last week I made this set of dog cards. I used different sketches I've been collecting from different challenges. Sparkle n Sprinkle gave me the challenge of the colors of brown, gold and tan. I took the liberties to add a few other colors.

Stamps:

Wet-n-Wild, Bone Border ,Smile

Other Supplies:

Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Ballet Blue cardstock

Watercolor paper

Designer paper

Waterfall glitter,

Quickie Glue Pen

VersaMark

Chocolate Sparkle

Watercolor Pencils

Dove Blender Pen

¾” circle punch

Silver Brads

Dimensionals

Directions:

  1. Cut Brown cardstock to 8 ½ x 5 ½ and fold in half for card base. Cut Mustard to 4 x 5 ¼. On Mustard, stamp 4 rows of bones and emboss with Choc Sparkle EP, sentiment on the bottom right.
  2. Cut designer paper to 2 x 4 ¾.
  3. Stamp dog on watercolor paper with Black Stazon and color with watercolor pencils and Dove Blender Pen. Layer on blue and adhere with dimensionals. Apply Waterfall glitter to the water droplets with glue pen.
  4. To make the brads hold brad with long tweezers and heat with heat gun for about 30 seconds until hot and dip in embossing powder, heat just a couple seconds longer to finish melting powder and cool.
  5. Assemble card.

Thanks for stopping by!
