Jesus Wants You

Happy Sunday Stampers,

One of the kids in my Sunday school class that I teach was sick today, and she hates to miss church, (and she loves to stamp in class) so I thought I would make her this get well card so she know she was missed.
This card was in this months Stampin' Success and is sooo cute!! For the cardbase I used Summer Sun and cut it to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. For the two front pieces, I used Sweet Pea and Marine Teal and cut them both to 4 1/2 x 3. For the Teal I used the Scalloped Edge punch. Lay them on top of the yellow leaving a 1/4 at the top, over lapping the two layers about 1/2" and use the 1/16th hole punch and attach a brad, hinging the two pieces. I stamped the image from God's Love on watercolor paper with Black Stazon and colored with my SU markers, and layer on the yellow. Tie the ribbon around the top piece then attach the image with dimensionals over the ribbon, so it overlaps onto the bottom portion of the hinge. Open the card and stamp the sentiment. I used Curvy Verses.

Hope you have a sunshiny day...and remember Jesus wants you for a sunbeam!

What a cute card! Clever design creating a "hinge" for something different. Your little Sunday School sunbeam will be so happy...
