Well, it was the destination this weekend! Boy, did I have a absolutely wonderful weekend!! My Scrappin' Sistahs and I went to a Bed n Breakfast in Waldo, FL this weekend to scrap. We didn't have to do ANYTHING but scrap!! It was wonderful not having to think about what I was going to fix for dinner, let alone have to fix it! We just ate and scrapped and slept for 2 days...it was paradise. It was on a beautiful lake. I will share some pictures of my finished scrapbook pages tomorrow.
This card was one I did last week for the Technique Challenge on Splitcoast. It was to use a magazine page and paint it with white Gesso, then emboss on it. You can see the shadow effect of the print through the gesso. I used Happiness is a Journey because it is a reverse image stamp and you can see the train through the. I embossed with clear then used Basic Gray and sponged over the image. It is layered on a metallic black, then Natural Ivory. The base is Really Rust. I finished it off with some silver brads and paper piercing.
