Mountain Dew Butterflies

Hi Stampers,

I hope everyone had a Blessed Easter. We had a dinner at church after service, then went over to my parents for another feast of delicious foods!
I made these butterflies last week after I got my new Sizzix die from Stampin' Up! I used a Mountain Dew can and cut off the top and bottom and cut it open to flatten it, then ran it through my Cuttlebug with the die the way I do cardstock. To color the butterflies I used alcohol inks. Then I ran it back through the Cuttlebug embossing folder. For the body of the butterfly I used rhinestones and for the antennas I used my retired wire works from SU. I was going to make a card out of them, but had this bottle sitting on my desk and it was plain, so I stuck them on there, then decided the butterflies needed some flowers, so put the flowers on and finished it off. It is bright and cheerful on my desk!

Thanks for stopping by:)
