Birthday Wishes

Well, last weeks card was for my niece, and so is this one:) It's her birthday today! She was here last week playing and made some Polished Stone cardstock that I used with my new Lattice Sizzix Die from SU. It's soooo pretty! I cut one lattice in half and glued them to make the strip. The brads in the middle help pull out the gold in the Polished Stone. It's layered on a piece of white cardstock that I embossed with Gold Tinsel EP from Sparkle n Sprinkle.
Tiphani had liked the birds that I made with the melting pot so I thought I'd make her one. I started with embossing cardstock with the Gold Tinsel, then I used the stipple brush with Versamark and added some Native American. Then I put about 4 coats of Thick Clear on top of that. I inked up the Script background with Gold Encore ink and stamped into the hot ep for some texture. The eye is a rhinestone.
I used the swirl from Baroque Motifs with Bermuda Bay ink. The card base is also Bermuda Bay (I love that color!)

Thanks for looking:)
