Backgrounds from Scraps

Well as you can see I have been making alot of backgrounds using my scraps. I have a draw full of small pieces and have decided to use some of them. After I glue them down on a piece of plain white cardstock, I run them through the Cuttlebug and emboss them. Layer it on a solid color and you have a colorful and dimensional background. I picked these stained glass stamps from Sparkle n Sprinkle to do these cards. I watercolored them with pencils and used the Dove Blender pen on them. The iris has glitter added to it.

Lexy loves painting her nails, and she gets quite creative alot of times. This time she made them into strawberries (or watermelons) which ever you see. How Cute!!
Have a great day.

Brilliant! I do use lots of scraps glued down on white paper (and just taped together on the back), but the Cuttlebug thing is a great idea! Thanks!

So clever! I'm a big scrap saver, but I've never thought of gluing them together to make a large sheet. Thanks for the tip!
