Embossable Acetate Cards

Sparkle N Sprinkle just started selling Clear Embossable Acetate, so I had to play around with it and make a few cards.  I used acetate on the glitter puzzle video kit club a couple months back and wanted to use that technique again.  On this one I started with a piece of Sticker paper cut to 5 1/4 x 4, the using a circle Nestibilitie and cut out the sun.  Then I drew on the sun beam lines with a pencil to make sure I got even number of rays so I could alternate the colors.  Then I picked out my glitters: Sunset for the sun, and Evening Glow & Orange Surprise for the rays.  Then cut apart the pieces and place the glitter on them.  To reassemble the puzzle I put it on a piece of black cardstock and left a bit of the black showing between the pieces to give it more definition. For the acetate I used an outline stamp of the Large Coconut Tree, I stamped with Versamark and embossed with Black Detail, then since I wanted a silhouette instead of the outline I used the Versamarker and went back and colored in the rest of the tree and embossed.  I stamped the Florida and embossed it as well.  I attached the acetate with brads.
Here is a quick second card.  I cut the acetate to 5 1/2 x 4 3/4 and scored the top at 1/2 inch so the back side of the acetate is attached with a strip of red liner tape to the white cardstock.  I stamped the flower element and embossed with Thick Gold.  Then I stamped the image again on the white cardstock with black ink, and the Thank you in gold ink.
The wildflowers are in bloom everywhere and there is this field near my house...I just think it is sooooo beautiful!  It makes me smile just looking at them:)
Hope you day if full of sunshine and smiles:)
Happy Stamping,

That first card is jaw-dropping! Wow! And I'm with you there's nothing quite like a field of wildflowers! (We only get them for a month or so each year, so you've reminded me to get on over for a visit!)
