Day 3 Mystical Treasures Blog Hop

For my final project I made a seed holder.  During the summer it's always fun to plant wildflowers, so what better way to share flowers with a friend!  I started out cutting my card stock to 8 1/2 x 5.  Then I laid the seed packet down in the middle of the card stock and scored lines on either side leaving about 1/4".  I ran the middle section through the Cuttlebug folder to dry emboss it, then fold it up and close it with red-liner tape.  For my main image I stamped the Water Fairy with Black Memento and colored with Copics and once again (always use glitter) used Waterfall glitter to accent the wings, then cut out with the Nestibilities.  The sentiment is an old one from Sparkle N Sprinkle, there are many you could choose from.  The secret for the pull is to punch a hole at the top through both of the card stock layers,  feed the ribbon through then slide the seed packet in the pocket pushing the ribbon down as you go, then tie at the top.

Here are the links to continue on your hop:)  Have fun!!

I like this card a lot. The little details, like the embossing on the holder really make the card special.
