We have a new stamp set at Sparkle N Sprinkle that will be released next week and I wanted to give you a preview of this beautiful poinsettia! I also featured the stamp set it in the Video Kit Club here. I love poinsettia's anyway, and this stamp is just gorgeous!! So much detail and easy to create layers with and some beautiful sentiments. I stamped the flower 3 times on red cardstock with Versamark and embossed with Halo Detail Embossing Powder, then I cut out 3 different sizes from the flower and stacked them in the center and used dimensional tape under the outer edges of the flower. Then I embossed it one more time on green and cut out the leaves.
The base is actually a gold shimmer cardstock and I used a border punch along the sides. I still have scraps of Christmas designer paper left over from a couple of years ago and used a piece of that down the center.
For the greeting, I embossed again with the Halo and cut it the swirl banner, then attached the center to the card, put dimensional tape under the words, and rolled under the ends, so it looks like a scroll.
