 Hi Friends,
I've been so busy stamping lately!  My daughter announced a couple months back that she was getting married!  So of course I got to make the wedding announcements.  They didn't plan a long engagement so I had to hustle to make them, but Lexy and I are both very happy with the result.  We moved her out to Kansas in June so she is far from home and the beach...they plan on staying in Kansas for now (but hopefully will eventually make their way back to Florida!) Here is my favorite of their engagement photos.

For the announcements I used a collection of old stamps from Stampin' Up and the computer to print out the Western Boy and Island Girl.  It is done on vellum with the doily heart in the background.  I embossed the images with Cappuccino EP from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  It was fun designing the layout, Lexy was in the process of drawing a grizzly bear for Matt for a tattoo before she moved and then of course Lexy loves the beach.  She wanted country/vintage look and theme.
Since they are having a small wedding I wanted people to include the people that would come by having them send their wishes.  So on the announcements that went to her side of the family I stamped the shell on the right and on the ones that went to his side of the family I stamped the bear on the right.

We head out tomorrow for the wedding!!  I'm so excited to see her.  I'll be back with wedding pictures!!

Blessings,
Jill
