Thanks for all the wonderful comments on the April Reveal post...I really appreciate them! Congrats to the winners. We went to Bok Tower in Lake Wales a couple of weeks ago and the flowers are of course in full bloom and beautiful. We enjoyed listening to the best show with the bells. I then made a card that I recently taught in a class using Copics. This is a technique that I learned when I was certified a couple years back. You start with a strip of vellum cardstock and RV25 & BG09 Copics and the Colorless Blender. On one side of the vellum you color around 1/3 of one end, then using the colorless blender start at the end and color over the color and pull it out over the plain vellum about 2/3 of the way...the color is pulled out. Then you turn the vellum over and do the same thing with the second color in the opposite direction. When you are done the middle where to two colors overlap from the colorless blender is a nice purple that blends the two colors together. A fun technique for sure. Using White Detail EP I added the Dahlias from SNS. Then there is always the problem of how to attach a piece of vellum to your project! The vellum was about 2 1/4" so I took a piece of the 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape and layed it down on my card front and then layed the vellum down in the center. I covered the rest of the exposed tape with Diamond Dust chunky glitter. The sentiment came out of the new Iris Frame set and embossed with Concord Grape.
